EMM® – Engineering Materials Management

EMM® – Engineering Materials Management is a complete solution for managing materials in the engineering sector. EMM® intelligently codifies all materials of the project, automatically delivering short and long descriptions, in Portuguese and English. Through EMM®, the projects team codifies, specifies and makes the materials inventory, allowing for efficient control of the detailed history of all MRs issued within the project.

Inside EMM®, the materials team generates the pipe specification of the project, meeting all the standard needs, such as Branch table, notes and tables of pressure x temperature.

EMM® exports the specifications to the 3D tools on the market (PDS, PDMS and Autodesk Plant 3D), and also controls all the emission flow of piping isometrics and spools.

Using robust history storage mechanisms, EMM® ensures full traceability of the materials, both in time and in the allocation of each item, allowing full control over materials usage for the Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Structures Teams.

EMM® interacts with other applications used in the supply chain, controlling the quantitatives generated in the software programs used by Engineering team(PDS®, PDMS®, Spoolgen®, COMOS® and SPI®), automatically sharing that information with the Supply systems and C&M (Datasul®, SAP®, GISA®, Controltub®).
